These Terms govern your use of bitsofbrilliance.com (the "Site") and the services offered by Bits of Brilliance Publishing ("we," "us," or "our"), operated by Jess Allen. By using the Site or booking a service, you agree to these Terms.
We help experts write and publish books with their own AI. That includes book discovery and planning, author brand strategy, building your Book AI Knowledge Base, coached drafting sessions, editing, and publishing and launch strategy. Our work is educational and collaborative: you do the writing with your AI, you learn the skills, and you own what you build. We are not a ghostwriting agency.
Your manuscript, your stories, your voice, and the AI knowledge base we build together are yours. We claim no rights in your book or your materials. Publishing arrangements, if any, are agreed separately in writing.
Our services are for general education and skill-building. They are not legal, medical, financial, or other professional advice. You are responsible for the decisions you make, for the content you publish, and for complying with any laws or regulations that apply to your work.
Sessions are booked through our scheduling tool. Please arrive on time; sessions run for the booked duration. If you need to reschedule, contact us in advance and we will do our best to accommodate.
All payments are final and non-refundable. If you need to reschedule, contact us in advance and we will do our best to accommodate. Prepaid hours remain available to you, and are transferable as agreed, so your investment is not lost.
We bring real editorial and publishing expertise, but we cannot guarantee specific outcomes, including sales, rankings, or publication timelines. Your results depend on your participation, your material, and the tools you use.
The Site's content and our methods, frameworks, templates, and materials are our intellectual property. The book, files, and knowledge base you build during an engagement are yours to keep and use.
We treat your unpublished work and what you share during an engagement as confidential, and we ask the same of you regarding our materials and methods.
Don't use the Site or our services to break the law, infringe others' rights, or harm the Site's security or operation.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site or services. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service in question.
These Terms are governed by the laws of El Salvador, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "last updated" date above reflects the latest version. Continued use of the Site means you accept the updated Terms.
